Tension in Gegharkunik Province

The candidate for parliament from the "My Step" alliance, Taguhi Tovmasyan, wrote on her Facebook page:

"Since this morning, the candidate for the head of the Vardenis community, Gevorg Simonyan, has blocked the Vardenis-Yerevan and Vardenis-Martakert highways with his supporters, demanding the resignation of Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan. We went to Vardenis to understand the situation on the ground and look for solutions."
