Administrative Penalty Imposed on 'H3 Television Company'

In a session held at the Commission for Television and Radio, two issues were discussed on the agenda: the matter of terminating the administrative proceedings against 'SHARK' LLC and the imposition of an administrative penalty on 'H3 TELEVISION COMPANY' LLC.

As informed by the Commission's Facebook page, addressing the first agenda item regarding the termination of administrative proceedings against 'SHARK' LLC, Mr. Hakobyan noted that on January 10, 2019, a complaint was lodged with the Commission stating that 'SHARK' LLC had committed violations. However, shortly thereafter, the company submitted clarifications leading the applicant to withdraw their complaint, thus eliminating the necessity to continue the administrative process.

The second agenda item discussed the administrative penalty related to 'H3' television's unauthorized rebroadcast of non-owned television shows during the period from December 1 to December 31, 2018. The company's representative, Naira Simonyan, provided clarifications to the Commission.

As a result of the voting, it was unanimously decided to terminate the administrative proceedings against 'SHARK' LLC and apply a written warning as an administrative penalty to 'H3 TELEVISION COMPANY' LLC.
