Interrogation... Around a Cup of Espresso: Fact
The Fact newspaper reports: "It became known the day before yesterday that Armenia's first president, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, was also interrogated by the Special Investigative Service regarding the March 1 case. According to received information, the interrogation lasted about an hour and a half.
According to the newspaper's sources, this 'interrogation' was mostly formal in nature, aimed at preventing any negative backlash from the public, as Ter-Petrosyan is one of the key figures in the March 1 case, and the involvement of only the second president, Robert Kocharian, especially his detention, leaves many with the impression of a political revenge.
A source from the newspaper indicated that this 'show' was organized on the personal directive of Nikol Pashinyan to avoid unnecessary intrigue. In reality, a light consultative conversation took place with the first president over a few cups of espresso at the SIS."
