Most Graduates Will Have Guaranteed Jobs, Says Pashinyan

Most graduates will have guaranteed jobs. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on his Facebook page.

“One of the most important processes taking place in Armenia in recent months is the signs of the renaissance of vocational education.

With the mediation and encouragement of the government, dozens of private companies are signing contracts with state vocational schools to prepare specialists for them.

Thus, the private sector receives a very specific interest in investing in the educational system: to provide material and technical support to vocational schools so that they can prepare the staff needed by these companies. This means that at least most graduates will have guaranteed jobs.

The most pleasant part is that this process is also expanding in the regions. Around two dozen contracts have already been signed in the fields of textiles, tourism, food industry, design, and other sectors. Furthermore, about ten more contracts are expected to be signed shortly.

I call on all private companies to closely cooperate with the Ministry of Education and Science and the government to expand this very positive process,” Pashinyan added.
