No one can force everyone to surrender lands: Davit Babayan on meeting with Serge Sargsyan

The third President of Armenia, Serge Sargsyan, has never imposed territorial concessions. This was stated by Davit Babayan, the press secretary of the President of Artsakh, in an interview with NEWS.am, responding to the recent statement by former Minister of Defense of Artsakh, Samvel Babayan, that in 2016 Sargsyan gathered the leadership of Artsakh and discussed territorial concessions, while the leadership did not oppose him in any way.

According to him, the fact that issues related to Artsakh, especially those regarding territories and the status of borders, are at the center of discussions is very important and commendable because these topics are indeed crucial for our statehood, both for Armenia and for Artsakh.
