Statement on Businesses Owned by Kocharyan's Family Will Be Made: Vanetsyan

The Director of the National Security Service, Arthur Vanetsyan, addressed reporters regarding his previous statement about businesses owned by former President Robert Kocharyan's family.

"Regarding my statement about the businesses owned by Kocharyan's family, a criminal case has been opened, and an investigation is ongoing. A corresponding announcement will be made by the investigative department of the NSS," noted Vanetsyan.

In December 2018, Arthur Vanetsyan stated that the "Congress" hotel was purchased with illegally acquired funds, and a criminal case has been opened for money laundering in connection with this matter.
