German President Welcomes Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan

The official visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia to the Federal Republic of Germany continues. After meetings with the Chancellor of Germany and the President of the Bundestag, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was received by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at the presidential residence, Bellevue Palace.

Frank-Walter Steinmeier emphasized the importance of the Armenian Prime Minister's official visit to Germany, calling it a great opportunity to discuss the prospects for deepening bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Armenia and Germany. President Steinmeier stated that there is a high level of political dialogue between the two countries, which must be continuously strengthened and used to develop cooperation in other directions as well.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that Germany is an important partner for Armenia, and the Armenian government is ready to continue active inter-state dialogue.

The interlocutors discussed the expansion of Armenian-German partnership, Armenia-European Union relations, and issues related to the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement in this context, as well as regional and international agendas.
