We Walked with Our People to Step into the Unknown: Pashinyan Opens Up
During this time, skepticism has pursued us at every step. No one approaches the issues surrounding Artsakh with an optimistic premise; everyone is guided by a pessimistic one. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this today, January 31, during a meeting with the Armenian community in Cologne.
“When Armenia’s foreign minister or prime minister goes into negotiations, there follows a huge wave of pessimism. What if they yield to pressure? What if they agree to an unfavorable solution? We have made these huge changes; we have walked with our people so that we can step into the unknown. Where does this premise come from?” Pashinyan said.
