VIDEO: Kocharian Informed That Pashinyan and Levon Ter-Petrosyan Will Also Be in the Film, Alumyan on Case N1 Film
The second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, who is currently in custody, has conveyed details about the film "Case N March 1" through his lawyer, Haik Alumyan.
“Some time ago, a compatriot living in Moscow called Mr. Kocharian and said that a well-known filmmaker, Roman Babayan, wishes to interview him regarding the events of March 1. He requested that Mr. Kocharian give an interview. Mr. Kocharian asked who else will be speaking besides him, and he was told that interviews will also be provided by Nikol Pashinyan, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, and several other individuals who played significant roles during that time. Under these circumstances, Mr. Kocharian agreed to give an interview, which was organized a few days later. At that time, he learned that Mr. Pashinyan and Mr. Ter-Petrosyan did not wish to give interviews, although they were offered,” lawyer Alumyan relayed Mr. Kocharian’s words to journalists during a break at the Court of Appeals today.
When asked whether it is true that Roman Babayan was given a large fee ($100,000) to prepare the film, the lawyer responded:
“Absolutely no fee has been given to Roman Babayan by Mr. Kocharian or his associates. There has been no initiative from them. On the contrary, someone has intervened to make it possible to contact Mr. Kocharian.”
