The 'Dawn' of the ruling party in Lori Province is not peaceful: Fact

The newspaper 'Fact' writes: 'The 'dawns' of the ruling party in Lori Province are not peaceful. It turns out that the ruling party is working with several 'fronts' in the region. According to our information, the governor, Andrey Ghukasyan, is facing difficulties in fully controlling the situation and uniting the party members.

One of the main 'culprits' is former deputy governor, now a member of parliament from the 'My Step' alliance, Aram Khachatryan. Khachatryan had told his close associates in the ruling party before the elections that the party was supporting him, that the governor would not stand for re-election, and that the Minister of Territorial Administration and Development, Suren Papikyan, was also on the national list, and most likely would remain a minister, so the so-called 'regional' votes did not particularly interest him.

According to our information, because of all this, Papikyan had a serious conversation with Khachatryan, and even Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan got involved.

Sources of the newspaper assert that Aram Khachatryan spent serious money on his campaign; he opened about 50 offices in the region and was conducting intensive campaigning. As a result, he secured first place in the region, and now he is doing everything to firmly maintain his positions within the party's regional structure.'

Details in today’s issue of the newspaper.
