Cases of hospitalization due to acute respiratory infections have decreased: Ministry of Health
The situation regarding acute respiratory infections remains stable. As of January 22, the number of hospitalizations has decreased to 700 patients, of which 92.0% are children aged 0-14 years.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, calls for ambulances have also decreased, with reports of 84 calls.
Despite the downward trend, there has been an increase in visits to polyclinic organizations, with 2028 visits recorded, mainly from citizens seeking early treatment.
According to the results of laboratory tests conducted, the H1N1 and H3N2 subtypes of influenza A are circulating in the country. The results related to H1N1 influenza A have significantly decreased in laboratory tests.
The implementation of the "epidemic filter" continues in schools and kindergartens across the republic. A total of 514 children with acute respiratory symptoms have been identified (307 in Yerevan and 207 in other regions). All identified children have been sent back home.
Monitoring of the thermal regime continues in schools and kindergartens, and data on all deviations are provided to local and regional governing bodies.
The Ministry of Health once again reminds and urges: "If you or your child are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please do not go to work and do not send your child to school or kindergarten."
