Public Catering Point Closed, Disinfection Works Underway
In response to reports of 10 citizens being hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning, employees of the Food Safety Inspection Body conducted monitoring actions at the public catering point "AGA Food Court" in Artashat. Conversations with the citizens revealed that they began to feel unwell after consuming chicken shawarma ordered from the said public catering point.
To clarify the cause of the poisoning, samples have been taken from the chicken meat intended for the shawarma, mayonnaise, ketchup, and vegetable salad available at "AGA Food Court" and sent for laboratory examination. Results will be published later.
It was also revealed that two employees had not undergone pre-employment and regular medical examinations and do not have sanitary books.
The activities of the "AGA Food Court" public catering point have been suspended, and disinfection works are being carried out.
