Vardenyats Pass Closed, Difficult Roads Reported
As of January 15, at 20:00, there are difficult roads to traverse across the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for vehicles with trailers and is difficult to navigate for passenger cars.
The Sotk-Karvachar road is currently impassable.
In the regions of Ashotsk and Amasia in Shirak Province, as well as along the Sevan-Gavar-Martuni road in Gegharkunik Province, there are patches of black ice.
Snowfall has been reported in the Ashotsk region of Shirak Province.
Motorists are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
Regarding Lars
According to information from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepanavan-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
Information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of North Ossetia indicates that there are cars accumulated on the Russian side.
Construction Work Ongoing
Construction work is being carried out on the road segment from the 39th km of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi highway to Bagratashen.
Alternative transport routes have been established as follows:
Intra-community traffic towards the cities of Alaverdi and Vanadzor and nearby settlements should be conducted via:
1. Vanadzor-Stepanavan-Agarak-Koges-Aygehak-Odzun-Alaverdi route segments towards the border with Georgia.

Since June 30, 2018, road construction works have been ongoing at the 139th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, resulting in a 200-meter segment being closed for one-way traffic.
