Video: Person Responsible for Tree Cutting in Dilijan National Park Identified
In response to the recent uproar regarding tree cutting in the Dilijan National Park, the Armenian police have announced that prior to the release of a video, they had already received reports about the felled trees. The reports indicated that 15 standing trees had been cut down, but investigations revealed that a total of 18 trees had actually been felled.
The police have identified the individual responsible for the tree cutting. He is Gagik Ghambaryan, a resident of Teghut, born in 1985, who confessed to the crime and stated that he cut the trees down on November 29.
The damage caused to the state amounts to a total of 5,550,000 drams, and Gagik Ghambaryan has been arrested.
