Road Conditions in Armenia: Heavy Snow and Low Visibility

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 1:00 PM on January 9, the segment of the road from Tarrer Park in the Aparan region to Mirak, as well as the Vardenyats Pass, are closed due to heavy snowfall and lack of visibility.

There is snow packing on the roads of Aragats and in the Artik-Alagyaz road section.

The road segment in Lanjik is impassable due to severe blizzard conditions and poor visibility.

In some areas of the Gavarr region's roadways, there is black ice.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed due to heavy snow and lack of visibility.
