Bodies of Young Couple and Child Found in Shushi; Condition of Other Child Critical

On January 8, at 19:05, the crisis management center of the State Emergency Service of the Republic of Artsakh received a call from the regional emergency situations department in Shushi reporting that a resident of apartment No. 11 on Hakoumyan Street was not responding to calls and needed rescue assistance.

Firefighters and rescuers from the Shushi fire-rescue unit, as well as police and ambulance personnel, rushed to the scene. Rescuers opened the apartment door, where they discovered the bodies of a couple, 33-year-old S. M. and 29-year-old A. A., along with their 5-year-old son, J. M.

The other child found in the apartment, 8-year-old N. M., was transported by ambulance to the 'Arevik' pediatric medical center in Stepanakert. According to doctors, the child's condition is critical.

The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
