A Column Falls on the Usable Section of the Road in Davtashen

On January 9, at 03:50, the "911" emergency service received a call stating that electrical cables had fallen in the 4th district of Davtashen, Yerevan, and assistance from rescuers was needed. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting squad from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a column belonging to the "Ucom" company had fallen onto the usable portion of the roadway, damaging the cables and causing traffic to be blocked in both directions.

The rescuers, in conjunction with employees from the electrical network, removed the column from the traffic lane.
