Volkswagen Jetta Hits Parked Car, Which Collides with Electric Pole

On January 8, at 00:06, the Emergency Service received a call that a traffic accident occurred in front of one of the houses on 1st alley of Tsarentsi Street in Yerevan. A vehicle hit a pole, and there were no injuries reported. Rescue assistance was required.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Emergency Situations Ministry was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a Volkswagen Jetta (driver: L. N.) had veered off the roadway, collided with a parked Mercedes-Benz E200 (driver: A. M.), which then struck an electrical pole and damaged it.

Rescuers disconnected the power supply to the Volkswagen Jetta and sealed the valve of the gas cylinder. Electric grid workers carried out power disconnection work.
