Group of Kazakh Law Enforcement Arrives in Armenia for Brawl Investigation
Participants in a deadly brawl on New Year's Eve in Karaganda included citizens of both Kazakhstan and Armenia. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Janat Suleymanov, as reported by Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Suleymanov stated that at least 14 people took part in the group brawl, with 9 being employees of the 'Old Rome' restaurant.
The incident resulted in one death and four injuries. Currently, 8 individuals have been arrested.
One person is still wanted. He left Kazakhstan on January 1 and entered Russia. Two investigative teams have been dispatched to Russia, while another is operating in Armenia.
