Attempted Theft at a Haypost Branch

On January 7, at 06:45, a report was received at the Central Police Department that a theft had occurred at Haypost branch No. 23.

According to the press service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, at 07:20, officers from the 1st Company of the Rapid Response Division of the Police in Yerevan detained a suspect identified as Gevorg H., born in 1990, on suspicion of theft from Arshakunyats Avenue.

A female employee at Haypost CJSC branch No. 0023 reported that on the same day, between 06:30 and 06:50, an unknown individual opened a window using technical means to enter the Haypost branch located at 16 Arshakunyats Avenue. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the perpetrator did not complete the crime and left without stealing anything.

Gevorg H. has provided a confession. An investigation is underway.
