Yerevan Municipality Staff is Enthusiastic

According to Hraparak, the Yerevan Municipality staff is enthusiastic: everyone has indiscriminately received a double salary as a pre-holiday bonus. Mayor Marutyan has not discriminated, and not only close associates of the mayor have received this bonus, as was the case in the past.

Moreover, this is a legal requirement: according to the ‘Law on Local Government Service,’ every year, for the proper and quality performance of their official duties, all employees of the municipality are granted a one-time financial bonus equal to one month’s salary. Exceptions apply to those employees who have been subjected to disciplinary action.
