‘My Step’ Will Support the Prosperous Armenia Candidate, According to ‘Zhamanak’

‘Zhamanak’ newspaper reports: If ‘Prosperous Armenia’ (BHK) and ‘Bright Armenia’ (LHK) nominate candidates for the parliamentary vice-speaker position, ‘My Step’ will vote in favor of the BHK candidate. The formal explanation will be that this is done because the BHK faction is larger than that of the LHK.

This justification does not withstand any criticism considering that the constitution does not give priority to any of the opposition factions. Additionally, the LHK candidate is known, namely Mane Tandilyan, while BHK has been unable to make a definitive choice. The most likely candidate appears to be Arthur Grigoryan, the former Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources, who was dismissed from the streets amid failure.
