Kanaker-Zeitun Leader's 9,800,000 Dram, 236,000 Dollars, and Other Assets: 'Pats'
The newspaper 'Pats' reports that Karen Hakobyan, the head of the Kanaker-Zeitun administrative district of Yerevan, has submitted his declaration to the High Commission for Ethics of High-Ranking Officials upon taking office in 2018. According to the official document from the commission, he owns an apartment and a socially significant building as of the day he assumed the office.
Hakobyan has also declared three vehicles: a 'VOLKSWAGEN TOUAREG 3.6', a 'VAZ 21063', and a 'GAZ 24–10'.
As of the day he took office, his monetary assets totaled 9,800,000 AMD and 236,000 USD.
From January 1, 2018, up until the day he assumed his official duties, his income amounted to 850,000 AMD, which was accrued from his salary.
Karen Hakobyan was appointed head of the Kanaker-Zeitun administrative district on November 15. Information from the official city hall website indicates that he was the director of 'Elen and Friends' LLC from 1995 to 2012, and from 1995 to 2005, he served as the director of 'HKJ' LLC. From 2004 to 2008, he was the director of 'Kiptrade' LLC, and from 2013 to 2015, he worked in 'Karen Navasardyan' LLC as a manager.
