Gunshots Fired in Yerevan, 20 Casings Discovered, One Injured

On December 23, gunshots were reported in Yerevan. Around 22:30, the police received a call from the St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center indicating that a citizen had been admitted with gunshot wounds.

Authorities and investigators established that the injured individual had been transported from near house number 99 on 14th street in the Avan administrative district. Signs of gunfire were found on the iron gate, European windows, and the ceiling of the specified house.

According to Shamshyan.com, police and investigators discovered 20 bullet casings at the scene. Currently, forensic experts from the police are working at the site.

Eyewitnesses reported, "There was an issue with some house, and the grandson fired shots toward the house with a hunting rifle. A neighbor approached him and urged him not to commit a hooligan act, to stop shooting, and then he shot at that person." They added that if the police special forces had not professionally neutralized the shooter, he would have continued firing.
