Karen Karapetyan Submits Resignation from the Republican Party: "Hraparak"
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that former Prime Minister and ex-deputy chairman of the Republican Party, Karen Karapetyan, had not visited the Republican Party for an extended period and had not been in contact with his party colleagues. He believes that his teammates have systematically worked against him and that the former leadership, headed by Serzh Sargsyan, treated him poorly.
Yesterday, the newspaper learned that he has submitted a resignation from the Republican Party. According to media reports, in addition to Karapetyan, around 7,000 "gazaviks" who had become party members before the last elections, following Karapetyan and out of respect for him, will also leave the Republican Party. The Republican Party officially confirmed the information that Karapetyan has submitted his resignation.
