Soldier Trapped Under Avalanche Found Dead in Sisian

A contract soldier, Haik Samveli Karamyan, who was trapped under an avalanche in Sisian, has been found dead. This information was confirmed in a conversation with Arsen Ohanyan, the head of the administrative district of Tanahat in the Syunik region.

Earlier, it had been reported that a group of soldiers were caught under the avalanche. All were found except for one.

The soldier was from Tanahat and had been a contract serviceman for two years. Arsen Ohanyan mentioned that the soldier's body was discovered an hour ago. Haik Karamyan had two sisters.
