Snow, Fog: Road Conditions Update

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia has announced that as of December 5, at 15:00, due to snowfall, the Vardenyats Pass is impassable for trucks.

Rain mixed with snow is falling along the roads of Artik and Jermuk, as well as in the Saravani Pass.

In the Sisian region, in the areas of Zanger and Talin-Mastara-Lanjik, fog has reduced visibility to 50-70 meters.

Road construction workers are engaged in cleaning and the treatment of roads with salt and sand.

All interstate and republican significance roads are open.
