“I Will Carry Your Pain”: ‘Alisa’ Voice Assistant's Comments on Armenians and Azerbaijanis

Recently, a scandal erupted in Azerbaijan due to the ‘Alisa’ voice assistant from the Russian search engine Yandex. A video surfaced on the internet showing ‘Alisa’ responding to the question of “Who are the Azerbaijanis?” In connection with this, Shamil Tagiyev, the head of the Azerbaijani community in Moscow, sent a video message to Yandex. Following this complaint, when asked about “Who are the Azerbaijanis?”, the ‘Alisa’ voice assistant now provides information from the Wikipedia page of Azerbaijan.
