Black Ice and Fog on Armenia's Roads: What is the Situation at Stepantsminda-Lars?

The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that the roads within Armenia are mostly passable.

Black ice is present in certain areas along the Goris-Sisian-Zanger road in the Syunik region.

Fog has been noted in the cities of Aparan, Ashtarak, Goris, Kapan, and in the area known as "Meghru Mountain." Drivers are advised to travel in the regions using winter tires exclusively.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for freight trucks. There are currently 82 freight trucks accumulated on the Georgian side.
