Snow and Fog on Some Highways

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia reports that highways across the country are mostly passable.

However, there is snowfall on the roads of Dilijan, as well as towards Artik, Ashotsk, Tashir, Sisian, Kapan, Goris, and Megric.

In the regions of Noyemberyan and Kapan, as well as on the Berd-Jambarak, Talin-Akhuryan, and Sisian 'Zangeri' road sections, fog is present, reducing visibility to 50-70 meters.

Drivers are advised to travel in the regions exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Republic's Emergency Management Agency of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
